Women's Self Defense Instructor In Boston - Gershon Ben Keren The SEPS Free Women's Self-Defense Program in Boston, is run by Gershon Ben Keren - a trainer, and operator, with over 25 years experience working in the security sector. He has worked in Europe, Africa and the Middle East as well as in the U.S. With a Masters Degree in Psychology, his training/teaching is research-based, as well as being founded on his real world expereinces of aggression and violence. He holds a 5th Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga (the hand-to-hand combat/fighting system taught to the IDF - Israeli Defense Forces), and has written two best-selling books about the system/method: "Krav Maga - Real World Solutions to Real World Violence" (Tuttle Press - 2015), and "Krav Maga - Tactical Survival" Tuttle Press - 2015). He is the author of the weekly Krav Maga Blog, where head shares his knowledge and experience, of predicting, preventing, avoiding and dealing with violence.

He currently runs Krav Maga Yashir Boston, in Charlestown MA - a 16 000 sq ft training facility (the largest dedicated Krav Maga studio on the U.S. East Coast) - where he teaches civilians, law-enforcement and military, self-defense and self-protection training.

Self-Protection Google Talks

SEPS Head Instructor has presented two author talks at Google (one in 2015 and another in 2017). In these talks/presentation he goes through the different processes and methods that criminals and predators use to target and access their victims, and how to predict, prevent and identify them, along with ways to de-escalate aggresive individuals etc.
